Birdy’s Backyard is unlike any other – a whole campground dedicated to runners, crew, volunteers, and supporters. Every hour, the field gathers at the start–finish line, ready to head out again. It’s a front-row seat to grit, triumph, and the magic of the backyard format.
These events don’t happen without the legends who step up to volunteer. If you can lend a hand, please fill out the form below – we’d love to have you on the team.
As a thank you, every volunteer receives a 20% RACE ENTRY DISCOUNT to any Ultra Series event nationwide. Discounts can be stacked and, if you’re not a runner yourself, you can even pass yours on to a mate.
